Medical Technologist (MT), Senior Job Summary

The Senior Medical Technologist performs all the essential job duties of a staff Medical Technologist as well as assuming techincal responsibility for a particular area of a large laboratory setting. May temporarily assume the duties of the core lab supervisor in her/his absence. Qualifications:

1.	Current certification or registration as a Medical Technologist such as ASCP, NCA, HEW or equivalent.
2.	Valid and current State of Hawaii license as a Medical Technologist.
3.	Minimum four (4) years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial lab setting.
4.	Additional two (2) years supervisory experience in a hospital lab setting.
5.	Basic knowledge and skills in lab information systems is desirable.
